A look behind the scenes: our Open Weekly

On 18 December 2025 we opened our doors. At the Open Weekly, students and interested guests could look behind the scenes of IGNITE and see how we work.

Why an Open Weekly?

The idea was simple: we wanted to lower the barriers to getting involved. Instead of just talking about our work, we showed what a typical weekly looks like. With real insights into ongoing projects, current challenges and how we organize ourselves as a team.

What happened?

We presented the status of our ongoing projects and talked openly about the challenges we are currently facing. It quickly became clear: IGNITE is a place where you can grow beyond yourself. Working on internal and external projects offers the chance to apply theoretical knowledge in practice. And working together in a team creates room for encounters beyond your own horizon.

It got especially exciting when we discussed the Hult Prize qualifiers taking place in February. The guests were directly involved and could contribute first ideas of their own – exactly how we had imagined it.

What happens next?

The evening was a successful start to our upcoming recruiting phase. We look forward to welcoming some of the guests as permanent team members soon.

If you were there and would like to become part of IGNITE – get in touch. And if you could not make it but got curious: the next Open Weekly is sure to come. 🚀
